Opus 11 Studio founder Lee Matchett recognized the growing need for private music lessons as school budget cuts reduce emphasis in arts education, and as parents look for ways to engage their children in worthwhile activities.  Lee has also heard from many adults who were seeking to further music study they began as a child, or to start something totally new.  Drawing on his more than forty years experience as a music educator, performer, and arranger, Lee opened the studio in Jeannette, PA to provide space for fellow music educators to offer lessons and for students to have a comfortable place free from distractions to focus on their learning.
